restaurant keeps stove burning nonstop for 143 years

A 143-year-old Beijing roast duck restaurant may be closing for renovations but it is not about to let its ovens go cold.

To maintain its tradition, the restaurant said it will keep embers from its wood-fired ovens burning during the six-month refurbishing job.

The oldest outlet of Quanjude Group of roast duck restaurants, on Qianmen Street in downtown Beijing, closed for business on Tuesday night.

A ceremony to preserve the oven fire, which the restaurant says has not been extinguished since it first opened in 1864, was conducted before the end of business at 8 PM on Tuesday.

According to the restaurant’s electronic board, the restaurant has served 115,330,259 ducks in over 140 years of service.
"The electric board will stop tracking the ducks, but the stove has been burning for about a century and a half, and the fire will never die out," Jiang Junxian, chairman of the board of Quanjude Group Co. Ltd. said.

How to make Someone Kiss you?

How to get boys to kiss you?
There are three things you must do if you want boys to kiss you: dress right, smile and act friendly, and flirt. If you do these things, he'll feel an unconscious desire to kiss you! sidewalk kiss Here's an example of how to get a guy to kiss you from the movie Bounce, starring Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow. Notice that she's dressed right (Well, you can't see all of her clothes in this shot, but take our word for it -- she is), and her hair is in a nice ponytail. The only problem is she wasn't smiling too much or flirting just before this kiss. It was almost like the Ben Affleck character felt sorry for her. You can see she still has a rather serious expression on her face as she's being kissed. To improve your chances of being kissed by the boy of your dreams, practice your smile and try to be in an upbeat, playful mood. Guys like girls who are fun to be with. Of course there are exceptions, and some rather artistic and intense guys like girls who are gothic, moody and nihilistic. If this is the type of guy you're after, then adjust your style to fit his. You might want to start carrying around a copy of his favorite book with you, just so that when you meet him you can pretend you're reading it. (This brilliant idea was sent in by Cindy from Spokane, a 15-year-old who said it worked to help her get to kiss her current boyfriend who was really into Harry Potter.)
How to flirt
Flirting involves saying nice things, teasing gently, or doing anything that shows your interest in someone. You can practice flirting by saying something cute to a store clerk, the mailman, or your bus driver -- whoever! Just tell him he's wearing a nice tie or that you like his shirt, or say anything nice that will make him smile. By practicing flirting you'll develop flirting confidence. Then when you see your secret crush, you can try a little flirting with him.

What can go wrong when i try to get a guy to kiss me?
What can go wrong is that he might think you're being too pushy or aggressive. But so what? If you don't try something, nothing's going to happen, so you really have nothing to lose. Besides, if you smile and act friendly and flirt just a little, he probably won't think you're too aggressive because you're doing it just a little bit.
What if i'm shy?
If you're shy, practice flirting to get over your shyness. If you're very shy because you inherited shyness (for example if your parents are also shy) then seek psychotherapy or counseling from your high school counselor. You can even practice flirting with your therapist or counselor.

Red Crab island

Christmas Island rainforest
red crab

Red crabs begin their march from the forest to the sea, where they will reproduce
During the migration, the island's human inhabitants just have to adapt.
There are around 120 million crabs on the march
The crabs navigate the same pathways year after year
For the islanders, encounters with crabs during the migration are just part of island life.
Most of the time we just work around the crabs and take them for granted
Red crabs are scavengers
After two weeks of marching, the first wave of crabs reaches the ocean
The weary travellers dip in the ocean to replace body fluids and salts

Real plane crash pictures

Photos taken from the GOL B 737 aircraft accident in Brazil .

Last month a B737 had a mid air collision with a Embraer Legacy while cruising at 35,000 feet over South America . The Embraer Legacy, though seriously damaged, with the winglet ripped off, managed to make a landing at a nearby airstrip in the midst of the Amazon jungle. The crew and passengers of the Embraer Legacy had no idea what they had hit. The B737, however, crashed killing all crew and passengers on board.

The two photos attached above were apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, after the collision and before the aircraft crashed. The photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tailplane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole.

Photos taken inside the plane.

These photos were found in a digital Casio Z750, amidst the remains in Serra do Cachimbo. Although the camera was destroyed, the Memory Stick was recovered. Investigating the serial number of the camera the owner could be identified, as Paulo G. Muller, an actor of a theatre for children known in the outskirts of Porto Alegre . It can be imagined that he was standing during the impact with the Embraer Legacy, and during the turbulence he managed to take these photos,

Seconds after the tail loss the aircraft plunged, so the camera was found near the cockpit. the structural stress probably ripped the engines away, diminishing the falling speed, protecting the ele ctronic equipment but not, unfortunately, the victims. Paulo Muller leaves behind two daughters, Bruna and Beatriz, from a previous relationship.
